Dr. Wang Guoan was admitted to Nagoya University in Japan in October 2008. He received his Ph.D. in engineering in September 2011. His research interests include nano magnetic thin film magnetic field sensors. Hypersen releases the first 50meter ToF ranging sensor. The ToF sensor is based on the principle of time of flight, by transmitting a continuous pulse of infrared light to a target object, and receiving an optical signal reflected from the object using an optical lens of an optimized design, and calculating the round-trip time of the optical pulse to obtain a target distance.
